What we are building right now
-
Connecting to pretix
Anyone selling tickets through pretix should not have to maintain the attendee list twice. Portego fetches it and keeps it current, including later bookings and cancellations. The contract stays with the organiser: Portego attaches itself to an existing account rather than taking over the sale.

-
Our own ticketing
Selling tickets without a second system beside it. Registration, payment and invoice run in Portego, and the attendee list comes out of that by itself. Anyone who already has a ticketing system keeps it and uses the connection; anyone who has none should not have to go looking.
Ticketing
-
Handing the newsletter to your mailing tool
The confirmed addresses of a newsletter are available today as a list and as a CSV file. In future they will go straight to the tool you send with anyway — Brevo, Mailchimp, listmonk and others. Or through a webhook, which reaches any tool that understands webhooks.

Public Session Wall
The Session Wall shows the running programme full screen: which block is on now, which follows, what comes after that. Today it runs on a monitor in the building. In future it will have its own address on the web — reachable without an account and embeddable on the organiser's own site, so that people who are not there can see what is going on.

Feedback for a session
Anyone who sat in a session can leave a short note afterwards. It goes to the person who ran the session, not into a report. At a barcamp someone often speaks in front of an audience for the first time — and otherwise never learns how it landed.
Sessions
-
What came out of the session
Notes, outcomes and links should stay attached to the session, also for those who sat elsewhere at the time. Plus room for a shared pad that people write in while the session runs. The experience from many camps: whatever is not written down the same day is gone a week later.
Sessions
-
Subscribing to your own schedule
A personal schedule belongs in your own calendar, rather than being looked up in a browser. If a session moves, the calendar follows. This matters most at events across several days, where the schedule is still shifting.

Templates for legal pages
An organiser running their first camp sits in front of an empty imprint field. Portego should offer building blocks from which a legal notice and a privacy policy can be assembled. It replaces no legal advice, but it beats an empty field.

Campo · live interaction
Polls to the room and questions from the room. The team asks with a choice, a scale or a word cloud; the room puts questions to the panel and votes them up. People answer from their own phone, without an account, and the result appears on the hall wall.
