Accessibility statement

This website was built with the aim of being as accessible as possible. It follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at conformance level AA.

Scope

This statement covers portego.eu. The application at app.portego.eu (öffnet in neuem Tab) has its own statement (öffnet in neuem Tab).

Conformance status

The website is largely conformant with the standards named above. In place are, among others:

• 1.3 / 1.4 — semantic markup, a clean heading order, colour contrast at AA or better
• 1.4.4 — text scalable to 200 % without loss of content
• 1.4.10 — no horizontal scrolling on narrow displays
• 2.1 — fully operable by keyboard
• 2.4.1 — skip link to the main content
• 2.4.7 — visible focus on every interactive element
• 2.3.3 — motion is switched off under prefers-reduced-motion
• 3.1.1 / 3.1.2 — each page declares its language, and the link to the other language version carries lang and hreflang: a screen reader pronounces “Deutsch” in German, not in English
• 1.4.1 — the selected event format is marked by a check mark as well as by colour
• Appearance — light and dark are both measured; the switch has three states so that the system setting stays reachable

Non-accessible content

We are not aware of any violations at present. This statement is based on a self-assessment, not on an external audit.
